ASHRAE BC welcomes ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer, Mark Fly to our November meeting. HVAC units are rated and certified to defined metrics and in many cases, must meet government regulated minimal standards before being sold. Designers of systems need to understand what these ratings mean in order to apply properly. Presentation will cover Full and Part Load Performance, What ratings cover and don’t cover, How these ratings effect Energy consumption and overall building performance, Environmental conditions that units are tested at to develop the ratings.
